Hey Nutz,

I have a Model 10-8 in .38 Special with the original wood grips on it (I also have a Hogue Monogrip and 3 HKS speed loaders). No idea of total round count, but it's in great shape with only very minor cosmetic blemishes. What would this package be worth? Thanks.

This isn't a great pic, too many shadows and reflections that make it looked dinged and worn, which it isn't...

BTW...are you sure it's 10-8? I would rather say it's 10-5 or 10-7. It's not rated to fire +P rounds as the heavy barrel models, so the owner should be rather aware of that. Extractor rod is silver which shows extensive use in the past. Barrels are hard to find for these wheelguns and especially in 5" or 6" length. Without more detailed pictures it's very difficult to give you an answer. I would say $350-400 if everything is fine with it.

As long as the Serial Number is prefixed with a "D" it should be good to go with the +P rounds....... The RCMP did extensive testing when the transition to +P ammunition came into effect, and even SOME of the later/last "C" prefixed Mdl.10s were OK for occasional use with the +P rounds . .......
