Is there a current equivalent? Can't keep S&W model numbers sorted out in my mind.

S&W has never made a K frame with a full underlug.

The L frame is bigger where needed but still has the same grip frame as the K. The difference between the K and L is noticeable, but not huge.

Careful what you say there grasshopper. In fact there are many K frames with full underlugs. The common ones are the model 14's, the model 17's like the one pictured below and the real common ones that we all see all the time. The model 617's all have full underlugs and they are K frames.

Fair enough, big guy. I did not realize they had made a full underlug 14.
