I have a s&w mod 29 with 10 5/8 barrell that I want to sell. I cannot seem to find a price on this gun, new or used. It has been shot a lot and has the blueing on the cylinder at the front burned?? also at the muzzle. Adjustable target type sights front and rear, a few nicks. houge grips with the originals included. Any thoughts? thanks
 
Pics would help considerably. The 10 5/8" barrel is uncommon and desireable for collectors but it sounds like your example has been well enjoyed. Mechanical condition is also a factor and makes it a risky buy, because you can't check ejector rod straightness, end shake, timing, lockup, or cylinder gap from a photo.

Very good to excellent condition Model 29s can fetch $750-900. Add $100 for the 10 5/8", subtract $200-400 for condition? Just guessing as I haven't seen it.
 
It is mechanicaly sound and I will continue to shoot it till it is sold. I will take a look at the picture posting thread and see if I can make it work??????/ And yes it has been enjoyed. Shot mostly light loads of imr4227 18.6-19.5 with hand cast lee bullets.

Also I will personally offer to buy it back if the buyer is not satisfied.
