S&W Model 60

Just saw a local addvert for a Model 60 .357 Mag new, looks like 6 inch bbl, for $599. This seems like a good deal, was $799. I just might have to snap this up.

Interested in feedback on this gun but be quick I might own it tomorrow!

Had one , but IIRC it was a 5" barrel ,traded it off ,kicking my ass for that, if you don't take it let me know where it is.

I had one of these..a Model 60-8 Kit Gun with 5" barrel. It was a sweet little .357, and I think I paid around $700 for it. Good review at gunblast.com if interested.

Thanks for the comments. I'll be at the shop at opening time. I read the review from gunblast dot com. Interesting. The same shop has a Ruger Bearcat 22LR for $499 so I'm tempted by this as well. And I thought I wouldn't be purchasing any more toys. I'll let you know how it goes.

The dealer had three S&W's at $200 off(2x M629 and M60). All were sold on the weekend so no go on the S&Ws. I looked at the Ruger Bearcat but it is tiny so I passed on it. Got some quality .22LR ammo though. Thanks everyone.
