S&w model 69

Want to hear from owners.. Own 6 44 mag revolvers and kinda want a 5 shot L-frame, but want real opinions about quality of these

I own one. Fit and finish is 1st class. Feels superb in the hand. Trigger breaks like glass. Very nice trigger.
The cylinder locks up via a detent ball in the crane that engages a notch in the frame. I like this WAY better than the extractor rod type lock. The shrouded barrel looks odd when looking down the end of the barrel. Its just different. Not a big deal. Great sights. Fully adjustable rear.
Shoots . 44 special and magnum both pretty accurate. The recoil commands attention but gets overhyped IMO. It's just an all round cool gun to own and shoot.
Forgot to mention, I love that its an L frame. I almost bought the 629 N frame, but definitely made the best choice.

Thanks for the opinion, I'm gonna pull the trigger on it, I love n frames.. But love the idea of an l-frame 44

Sort of the goldilocks gun, not too big or too small. Slightly lighter than the S&W mountain gun. Very nice with 44 special but capable of shooting full power 44 magnum if you are not too sensitive to the stout recoil.

Well made the decision and ordered one from Tenda, hoping it will show up before the 19th, gonna roll up some light 44 with some w231 to ease myself into it, but gotta try some Magnums

Love mine. Shoots like a laser beam with 44spl loads. Don't shoot 44mag often.

Will definitely try some full power Magnums in it, don't think it will be much worse than my sp101 with hot loads, but the 69 will be primarily a 44 special level gun.. Lol

Would any 686 holster fit? Minus the cylinder flutes not lining up...

Bought a regular 4.2 S&W Model 69 in Canada and i like it so much, i have bought in New Hampshire a S&W Model 69 Combat 2.75 in barrel for my carry handgun.

Great gun. I love mine, very handy.
In response to the question about holsters, I just use my 4.2in L frame holster from a 586.

The short barrel is accurate beyond belief and woo wooo amazing ball of fire.

Like shooting in the evening with it.

I use a carry shoulder bag, perfect, it will fit any of my 4 carry handguns. I also have an ankle holster for my Glock 26.
