Love mine, it was also my first pistol. I got it in late april and by the time september rolled around it had just a little over 5000 rds thru it. (Hunting season started so it kinda collected dust till last tuesday).
If you can, I recommend going to a range and trying it and try different pistol. When I was looking at buying. I was stuck on the Ruger sr9, Srpingfield range kit and M&P range kit. Tried them out and the M&P won the test. Best fit for me.
