S&W Revolver Gunsmith

I would give my buck to any Canadian who can do the work, first and foremost. Many monkeeys here. Im going to give some small work to a promising gent on the west coast and see what goes. Fellas name is Stewart Newby in Half Moon Bay/Sechelt, B.C.. don't have his number handy, sorry.
The fella apparently worked at Springfield for a few.

Murray Charlton is an absolute expert with S&W revolvers (I love his trigger work) and his company (MD Charlton) is the factory warranty depot for western Canada. Wortners is the S&W factory warranty depot for central/eastern Canada.

Yes, George Wortner is VERY good, and 1 of only 2 guys in country approved by S&W for warranty work, BUT, you will wait MONTHS for the work to be completed.....hell, it takes him all day to sell me a box of .40 'cause he never stops talkin!

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info, Wortner is the closest to me, 50 minutes , so I think that's where I'll go, hey undertaker, last time i saw you (bought 870 barrel), you said your club was top notch, any way i can try your skeet when i drop off my pistol @ wortners?

I contacted MD Charleton for some work on a model 29 and they said 6 months. Wortner told me 6 weeks so I sent it to them.

We'll see how long it takes. Happy to hear the do good work!

Sent a pair of revolvers to Wortner's, must be two months ago now. Not that I'm complaining, I'm sure he's busy and I've no doubt I'll be happy with the result.

Now, if those were my two only handguns, I'd be complaining!
