Well I tried the leather trick and the ejector rod just turned in the leather, chewed the leather up. This was trying to loosen the rod.
I slid a 0.010 inch brass feeler gauge between the cylinder and bbl. on each rotation, little tight on two of them.
I removed the grip and tighten and loosened that screw to no avail.
No high caps.
The ejector seems to be lower than the cylinder on each chamber.
I have found a Gunsmith less than 2 hours away who will look at this gun so I guess off to the Smith it goes. Let you'll know how that goes. Thanks Nutz!
