S&W SD9 Finger pain issue

I bought a SD9VE last year and notice every time I shot it (50-100 rounds) I end up with pain almost feels like bruising on the very bottom of my trigger finger.
To also put this in perspective I am 6'6 and have large hands.

I never have this issue with my 1911's or my P08, am wondering if this issue is specific to the SD9, all polymers or a combination of large hands and polymers.

I have shot a couple rounds though a glock and never experienced this but that could have been due to the low round count.

Might be the weight of that trigger pull...I'm guessing the 1911 and po8 doesn't have an 8# trigger....well that's what mine was...shame, I get why they did it, but other than that, wasn't a bad pistol...jmho

Do you drag your finger against the trigger guard when you pull the trigger?

No, I make sure I always place my finger correctly on the trigger.
