I've been looking all over and I can't find one.

An AR-type adjustable stock for a S&W shottie. Is it possible that it doesn't exist?

If anybody knows where to find one or if you know which is adaptable, feel free to fill me in.

Tks

From what I have seen, they are basically Remington 870 copies, Basically...but bot sure about internal parts interchangeability between the 870 and the 3000

I'll have to check that out, we use both here at work so I'll compare them. I never thought to even check, but they are very similar shotguns.

Thanks guys.

buttstocks may fit but forend dont
i have a 1 NIW parkarised s&W 3000 pump forend, a used one and 1 used snythetic forends non of theparts fit on the rem 870
but ill trade them to an s&W 3000 gun order for somthing if they need them, i have no use for them.

Just had a look and the 870 buttstock doesn't "really" fit on the S&W 3000. However, with a bit of tweaking it would be perfect....can anyone say Dremel.

The problem, from what I can see, is that the trigger guard on the S&W is shorter than the 870 and the post is also shaped a bit different. Thus, not making for a very snug fit.

I guess I'll have to keep looking....too bad 'cause there are lots of very nice870 stocks out there.

I just saw a folding stock S+W on the equipment exchange...

Yeah, I just purchased one of those shotties. I want to remove the folding stock and replace it with a "telescopic/adjustable" stock. The same type you would find on an AR.
