S&W Sigma 40F .40 Cal

I’ve got (I think) a really good opportunity. I need your assistance though. One of my clients (great guy!) is tight for money. He is going to sell a S&W .40 Sigma 40F, with holster, 6mags, 500rds of .40ammo, cleaning kit, and carrying box with locks. Sounds like an awesome deal and it will help him out to have the extra money.

I can’t get definitive info on this gun. Is it reliable and mechanically sound or are the some fundamental problems?? Let me know ASAP. My buddy and I need to make a decision on this tomorrow night.

I would also like this info. Wolverine sells these for a great price in .40 cal S&W.
So if anyone can comment on

They are very similar to Glocks. Very reliable work gun. Wolverine has them for $450 w/ 2 mags (ex. police guns) Good deal. OK shooters.

I was under the impression Sigma's were pretty crappy..?

I never owned or even shot one, just what I heard. I assume that is incorrect then? :?:

Well my friend and I went and made a visit to check the Sigma out. He took the plunge last night and made a deposit. I'll let everone know in a couple of weeks how she works.

S&W is not very good at making reliable semi autos .They crank out some nice revolvers . There are a few PD that bought these pistols and quickly traded them back for Glocks .
