anyone pick up an M&P since the beg of june?

S&W has a promotion for two free mags with proof of purchase from june 1 to july 15.

Anyone know if we can actually collect these?
I know there were some issues with the range bag, i assume this will be even more difficult.
what are the rules about shipping 10 round mags to canada?:canadaFlag:

you can order mags in 10round capacity so that wont be a problem.
Im just curious if SW honors the deal for us will there be an issue with shipping them to me?

I emailed S&W 2 weeks ago asking them if they will honor the promo for Canadians. So far it seems that they are way to busy to even reply to Canadians !

on another note, those who have the M&P, what are your experiences using it in an IPSC match.

anyone have pics of accuracy at 25, 20,15,10,7 yards.

Last IPSC match out here in BC a lady was shooting the M&P but had major problems. IIRC it was an ammo problem and/or the gun didn't like a minor power factor in 40 S&W.

IF they honoured the deal here in Canada I would buy another M&P! I could use the extra mags.

As for getting them shipped to a friend in the US or a US drop box wouldn't they be able to tell from the rest of the info on your mail in form that you are Canadian and say no?

Ill be picking up a 9mm.

Anyone have a Taurus 24/7? hows it feel in the hand and how does it perform under ipsc conditions........

There's another thread on here regarding an earlier S&W promo that Greg is the Greatest started (thanks Greg) which I call "The Range Bag War". Mine arrived yesterday after 6 weeks from mailing in the form. Basically if you send in the completed form and include a note letting them know you expect them to honour the offer, mention good will, customer loyalty and the fact that you talk to a lot of people on this forum as I did, it will help. The only wrinkle is that this offer is for gun parts as unfortunately they are classified as such on both sides of the border. Of course 2 of them can't amount to a value of more than $100.00 which is supposed to be the limit you can have sent from the States at one time without an export/import license so I think your chances are better than 50-50. If you're buying the product anyway what's the harm except using a stamp. By the way my range bag came fedex with no charge at this end. Declared value was $1.00 as it fits into some 'promotional" category.

Buy a lottery ticket while you're at it, sounds like you've got some luck.

Maybe diplomacy is the key. Pump some sunshine up their butt and that must help to a certain degree.. I mentioned that their recognizing Canadians who support their product is another example of why S&W is renowned for their Customer Service. Oddly enough its true, and I am sure they appreciate a pat on the back more than a demand for equality. Just a little hint....
I am now off to visit Apu and get a loto 649 Ticket and a grape squishy, just in case it really is luck..
Cheers

Okay so my luck has clearly changed:mad:. I just got a blank envelope back from S&W with all my original documentation and a yellow HiLite on the phrase Offer valid only in those states in the USA....bla bla bla.. No other explanation, nothing. Same phrase used in the range bag promo and they shipped those to Canadians, perhaps reluctantly. And to top it off, the envelope arrived with insufficient postage:eek:.. Time to contact S&W and ask WTF is going on with Customer Service. I can handle the rejection, but no explanation:bangHead:? I expect it was denied due to them being classified as gun parts, which I rather expected but I am also curious to see if anybody else has seen their bonus mags yet?
Cheers:)

I bought a M&P the second week of July. I sent in for the range bag and mags. If I get them then it's a big bonus, if I don't I'm only out for the postage, photocopying and envelopes which was less than 3 bucks. If you don't send in for them then you have a zero chance of getting either. Now, it's starting to look like a zero........:(
