S&W summer promotion

I received confirmation today from S&W that they are in fact honoring the promotional coupons received from Canadians :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:
They continue to impress me over the years, but the proof will be in the mailbox.

i got a letter back from S&W saying that my envelope had to be postmarked by jul 31. well mine was post marked aug 1.......so they didnt honor it.

i callled their customer service dept and talked with jeff. told him what happened and he said send it back in but make it attention jeff and he would make it happen!

kudos to jeff. no questions asked, hes just gonna make it happen!

on another note, my M&P is awesome. been out three times with it and im starting to get some good groups at 12.5 metres. practice makes perfect.
 
Mags showed up via FedEx yesterday(1 month after confirmation)! Naturally FedEx had to charge their import fee/GST/Duty, but $15 is nothing to pay when you get $90+ worth of mags. Yay S&W!!:D Some folks got theirs thru the postal service so I expect they had no fees to pay but I couldnt be happier.

Spoke to S&W this morning. The magazines are back ordered by 400 units causing a delay in getting the free mags to us.
 
I already got my free magazines from S&W . Problem is ,they sent me mags for the M&P compact. They have agreed to send me the right ones as soon as they are in stock.
 
Okay, so I am off to buy a lottery ticket! 1 week after the Promo mags for my M&P40 arrived from S&W, I received another package from FedEx today, and it contained 2 more mags from S&W:eek:. I notified S&W re the booboo and they advised to keep with their compliments. I figure I have to get a 649 ticket today as this kinda luck just wont last...Probably expire just as I walk up to the lottery ticket window..

Just curious...for the people who received their magazines. When did you send your rebates in? I sent mine in around the third week of July and have yet to see anything. :confused:
 
I originally submitted mid July, they sent me a "too bad, only applies in the US" response, I resubmitted stating my disappointment around early Aug. They sent a response saying it did in fact apply to Canadians shortly after that and it took 30days from then to see anything in the way of mags. All in all it was a 2 month process. I understand they have a backlog, but u can always zap a note to their customer service folks stating your case and you should get a reply.

daBear, thanks! Never did get the 'too bad, so sad' letter. Taking the backlog into account I'll wait until the end of the month before I send them a note. :)
 
FYI, S&W is relaunching the free mag promo again for M&P's and Sigma's purchased between Oct01 & Dec 31:eek:. I would think they would only launch once the mag supply was built back up from its backlog.

Hmm... that's interesting. When I bought my first M&P back in the spring there was no offer. Maybe I should buy a new one... you know... just in case the first breaks. ;)

Is that offer on their web site now? I was just looking there a few days ago and saw nothing about it. Just a deal for the 460... got to get that too. :eek:

FWIW, the new promo on the magazines showed on Smith and Wesson's homepage this am. I also called them about my magazines and the fella said they do show it being shipped last week!!!!
 
Hey guys, I have an M&P on the way, do you just fill out the form that you find on their website and just substitute Province for state and Postal code for Zip code?

Do we have to phone in our request?
