S&W summer promotion

Just fill in the form as requested and be sure to include copies of all the documents they request. Indeed show your province as State and mark it Canada. I would also suggest taking the time to do a cover letter(keep copies) thanking them for including Canadians and submit to the address they advise. They will most likely send via FedEx so you will get dinged with a fee from FedEx (about $15 for their import fee/GST/duty) but thats nothing for $90+ worth of mags. It may take 6-8 weeks.

Thanks Bear! What documents do they request? Would that be the dated sales receipt? I got this as a gift, so it would be a shame to ask for a receipt. Did anyone get away without having to send anything?

If you dont send them what they are asking for I can see an excuse for them to deny your request. They are good enough to extend the offer to Canadians even though the coupon states only valid in the US. Why not zap an email to S&W customer service and ask what they suggest. BTW, without a sales receipt, what proof do you have should you ever need service? I would think its best to have a dated sales receipt to be sure. How do they know that you purchased it within the promotional period? They require the coupon to be filled out(avbl on website and download/print it) stating what type of gun and which mags and a dated proof of purchase. Its fairly simple and I think its fair on their part to request such.

got my mags yesterday
Jeff in CS at SW is great

Mail it to customer service attention Jeff, he will make it happen.

they sent me back my cover letter and the copy of the sales reciept, did this hapen to anyone else?

:D Got my mags yesterday as well....no range bag though (no big deal, glad to get the mags). I had nothing returned from S&W regarding the rebates which were sent in around the third week of July.

i should clarify, when I said they sent back my cover letter and reciept, he had written on it the order # and tracking # for FedX, I assume for my reference.

But I found it interesting that they sent them back at all.

I just received my magazines yesterday.

I sent in a letter with the rebate form stating that I would be happy to pay the duties/taxes.

On the $0 invoice, it was clearly stated that the customer is responsible for all duties/taxes.

$100 worth of magazines for $18, not a bad deal.
