I'm about 3 or 4 thousand rounds in on mine and for the last little while the trigger is occasionally not resetting. Hammer is cocked, next round is chambered but a dead trigger. Anyone else experience this ? I've done two full disassembly and cleans minus the sear. That's the only part I didn't remove. It didn't look like it needed cleaning.

Happens with all ammo and both mags. And no the safety is not accidentally flipped on sometimes which happens often with it's poorly thought out placement .

Thanks for any help.

I'm not personally familiar with the Victory but I know that the sear is part of the interrupter setup on some of the guns I've got. And it's the part or train of parts that forms the interrupter operation that you feel resetting when you ease off the trigger and feel the reset "click" If there's some gunk wedged between the sear and the frame it may look clean but be dragging. A blast of something and checking to ensure it's moving freely would be a good step. The other thought is that perhaps some fouling or other issue is preventing the trigger from extending forward far enough to reset. Given that you didn't tear it down far enough to ensure the sear was free and clean I'm thinking you may have taken some other shortcut too. "Full disassembly" can mean different things to different folks. To me it means pushing out pins and stuff so no two parts are together that were not originally made that way.
