S&W vs. STAG

Last I heard, S&W used receivers made by none other than Stag.

I'd believe it, had them side by side, and all casting and machining landmarks were the same. The only real difference I could pick up was the obvious lack of compensator because the S&W has a target barrel.

S&W makes everything in house now, except the barrel is made by Thompson Center Arm which is own by S&W anyways.
