Has anyone here ever dealt with S&W warranty? How are they? I have a 460V that I bought with a very low round count after the original owner died. The gun came with the 67 fired brass that had been through it. I've shot it a bit, maybe coming up on 1000 rounds. I was just wiping it down tonight when I realized it's starting to loosen up a little and the cylinder stop notches in the cylinder are starting to burr a little. It's not bad enough to worry about yet but I'm curious if anyone else has ever tried to deal with S&W in a similar situation.

Their warranty is good. What you're describing sounds normal though, and might not be a warranty issue.

I agree that this doesn't sound like a warranty issue.

I have dealt with Wortners in the past for a S&W 686 issue and they were fantastic. I would deal with them again even though I am in AB.

It may not be an issue.... I'm just a little disappointed that it's loosening up already. That said, I use my guns so wear is acceptable and I understand that stainless is softer than steel. If they'd made a blued 460 I'd own it. I'll send an email and see where it goes....
