SA Black Special @ Italian (Vancouver)

I was in Italian sporting goods last weekend and I found the "Black Rifle" of my dreams! The Swiss Arms Black Special. I thought I had it made .223, semi auto, NON Restricted and cool as hell, then I saw the price They want $3700 for the thing! Should I just forget this gun all together? If the answer is yes then what is an affordable non restricted black rifle in .223 or .308?

Ouch. The latest shipment has gone up in price but that is crazy. Del Selins in Vernon had a black special a few days ago for $3295. Not sure if that price helps but at least you save $400 for ammo and accessories. Check out their add in the Black rifles section in the EE.

I find it funny how the price went up 15%.
Did the Euro go up 15%? No.
Were these rifles built and shipped for free and they were paid for when they got here? Not likely. Most likely paid for last year.

Italian sporting goods always seems to over charge. I was looking around for a USC the other day, and they had one in stock... at $2450!!! Wolverine supplies quoted me a price of $2100.. they didn't have any in stock though.

I scored my black special at Elwood Epps for $2500 back in Nov.. Mint condition with only 350 rounds through it. The poor guy that owned it last went broke and had to sell it.

I see alot of that coming up. Much like the real estate market; good deals for those who managed their money. Not so good times for those who did not.

The Swiss dont use the Euro, and they arent in the EU, they use the Swiss Franc. The swiss franc is 10% than the Canadian dollar. Meaning 3700 is gouging you. Shop around, im sure you can find one for 3000 or less.

They'll move a little on the price if you can show em' the item for a lower price somewhere else. Sometimes.

Did it come bare bones at that price or with a scope/other accessories?
Their prices may be a bit higher sometimes but that's hard to believe they'd ask that stock.

As far as I know they still have them in stock. If I wasn't building a 9mm AR right now I would have picked up the CQB.

well I will never buy a swiss arms product then, nicholls suck, TSE is the man.
