Has anyone ever heard of this? Someone is offering it to me in trade in bandoleers of 300 but I've never seen or heard of it. I've shot a ton of SA 7.62 and I love it, so I'm hoping this is as good.

What is the going rate for a SA .223 battlepack? More importantly, it is any good?

Thanks!

Is it packaged in red boxes of 50 rounds each? Non corrosive but berdan primed ... excellent ammo.

I have a rifle marked 5.56 , can I still fire 223 out of it;)

Yes of course but they need to be inserted backwards for them to work properly.:D

SA 5.56, yes it is excellent ammo. Quite accurate. I would tell you how well i did with it one sunny afternoon at the Winona range, but others would call me a liar and a teller of tall tales. Suffice it to say, it has impressed me in regards to accuracy and consistency. Did not expect it to be that good.

I bought 4800 rounds of the SA surplus back in the early 2000's from Milarm - cost was about $200/1000!!!

I'm down to my last thousand or so... should have bought more at the time, but I reload now, so it rarely gets used.

However, I found it quite consistent and clean. Non corrosive and accurate in my guns!

I haven't actually seen it yet, just heard about it. I'll certainly ask though. What would you compare it to commercially right now?

I found it quite similar to FNM surplus, that is, slightly better than most commercial ammo I've used.
