SA waranty work

Any XD owners have to send their pistol back to SA for warnaty work?

I was wondering if there was an issue with sending a pistol to the States for SA to work on it? Especially while SA is not selling all replacement parts.

I don't have a problem with my XD, just curious. With a life time waranty, eventually I may have to send her in for something.

Secondly, there are rumors that on the XD40's there has been some cracking lock blocks, anyone here have this problem?

i have not had to send mine back yet. i talked to sa and they told me there is a warranty depot in Quebec. every thing you want to know about the xd is at this web site http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/ they have had some issues on the .40 with cracked locking blocks on some of the older ones
