The 2 screws that hold the steel into the wood on the forend grip pulled out while shooting yesterday. What would be the best way to fix these? I tightened them after it happened the first time and they snugged up real good then pulled out again with next 2 shots. Pulled it apart when I got home and a bunch of sawdust came out of holes screws still seem tight but I guess with the recoil they pull themselves out 1/4”. I’m thinking a 8-32 knife screw insert, but not sure if that is the best way or not. What would you suggest. I think this one is an ash stock.
