sabot for .457 bullet in a 50 cal cva optima

hey, I'm wanting to load some 405 grain hardcast lead in my cva optima v2. my problem is I only have .452 cal hornady and mmp black sabots. can someone tell me of a place that sells the 458 Orange mmp sabot or if either of my 2 brands will be safe to try out. I will be pushing it with blackhorn 209. thanks.

I've used the short black smooth harvester 45/50 sabots in my savage with .457 Remington HP bullets, might want to give them a try if you can get them. You might also consider a sizing die in .451/2 and resize your lead casts that way you can use regular mmp short blk.sabots.
Just a thought.
