Sabot slug ??

You can .... however, foster slugs will lead your rifled barrel badly ... I have never tried it .... but some say that after around 10 shots there is no more accuracy ..... :-(
And cleaning that barrel afterwards ..... ufffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ...... :-(
 
I was at the gun club today and tested my Hornady SST, Remington Expanders, and Federal Copper. The SST's were 2 3/4" and the other's were 3". The Remington Expander hands down had the best group with each shot touching,SST second and Federal were on their own. Gun is a 220 Savage

Where did you get the Remington expanders? I've been looking for them.
