Currently using Hornady comparator body and HS/Bullet inserts but i feel like the SAC Comparator Inserts would give me better readings am i overthinking it or it is a true upgrade for those who tried it? Feel like correct angle for HS and stiffer material than aluminum would worth it. Now only if they wouldn’t charge $90USD for shipping for something relatively small i would have bought it instead of writing this post lol.

You pretty well described it! I will buy it one day when the money is ok i hate how the Hornady comparator 90’ edge mark my brass when i turn them for accurate HS readings.

I have a some SAC gear and it is top notch.

From memory they have a fairly decent Black Friday sale which is only a couple of months or so away, seem to remember pretty good savings with that.
 
That's a nice looking kit, pricey though.

With either kit, you'll get the best readings if you use a piece of fired brass instead of the "modified case" that they sell. It's easily made with a small lathe or drill press and the right bit and tap, which can be had from Amazon or any quality tool store for a few bucks.

"L" drill and a 5/16-36 tap for the Hornady one anyway, not sure what it is for SAC
 
I did buy the kit last Black Friday and i have received it today. First impression is 100% totally worth it very precise measurements and consistent + no mark on brass wich is awesome. I recommend. I kept my Hornady body for bullets and only bought headspace inserts for the SAC. I like the Hornady for bullet since the inserts are the same diameter as my barrels lands.
