Do not buy a silver scope.
Check out Minox,supposed to be good glass.

4.5-14 VX3 with B&C reticle. Second choice 3.5-10 VX3 with the same reticle.

4.5-14 zeiss conquest,ive had several zeiss and many leupold and the zeiss is superior in my opinion

Minox has had some problems with lens fittings according to a sales person at Cabela's Edmonton.Upon closer examination the eye piece was a little off kilter.........Harold

My Cooper in 7mmstw will be wearing a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44.

Good choice I have one with BT Ballistic Turret and 4W Reticle.I have put it on 300 Win Mag and shot first ever 5 shot .5 inch group at 100 y with Barnes 180 TTSX !
It would be blast on my custom 7 STW.
With BT you can move this scope from one rifle to the other rifle changing only settings on Ballistic Turret.
You can also order custom elevation turret for your cartridge for 99$ from Swarovski USA.
Pricey ? 1.6 K but could be used on many rifles.

Where are you located? I've yet to see anywhere east of Manitoba that required a 14x or 18x magnification. So if that applies to you, get a 3-9x40.
