Sacrificing My 10/22 for the Wife

I have a very light trigger on mine - maybe 2 lbs. All I did was replace the sear and hammer with a cabelas special kit - that was years ago though so I don't know if they still have them. Not sure what you have in mind but my advice is don't spend huge dollars on trigger parts - IMO it's not necessary.

Those are VQ parts. Only the hammer is needed to get a decent trigger pull. rimfiresports dot com. ;)

Could be. They were branded as Cabelas but I have no idea who made the parts. They came as a set with some small parts that I never bothered putting in.
 
Current configuration and accuracy. Conditions were +-0 degrees with a fairly brisk wind coming from behind and to the right, 10 shot group was at 50yards. Disregard the red holes, that was a group fired beforehand.
