sad end to a friends collection

A local poice officer one told me that any valuable or interesting guns are kept by the police department as reference and training arms. I was watching a training day for the cops. They were learning how to check varoius kinds of guns to see if they were unloaded.

I noted they had a Ross and a 22 Ross, with many other different kinds of actions.

It is sad indeed when someone just will not listen to another's point of view with an open mind.
This lady obviously had a lot of stored up angst about those rifles to so completely ignore even the officer sent to pick them up.

I once mentioned to my wife taht if she did that, I was coming back from the other side to kick over her Swarovski crystal collection.

i cannot say in words how much Pete loved those guns the 303 came from his old partner who died of cancer 4 years ago and he was fixing up an old .22 i gave him for his grandson as a surprise ..i told her all this it didnt matter she is a very unhappy person her family has pretty much given up on her ...she has always been this way and Pete was the total opposite..I really miss him he was a great guy

Very sad and sickening story. I remember you telling me about this at Ancaster a year or two ago, sorry it came to this.
What a witch.

What a disgusting shame, that douche is destroying history.

Yet one more reason to be sure of the girl you marry.

I have heard of a few women that latched onto RCMP officers for the free ride, and a ticket out of being a waitress for the rest of their life.

It's too bad that man hadn't met a better woman to be his partner.:(

Well its understandable why that lady's (and I use that word losely) family has abandoned her. RCMP A Division in Ottawa has a very large gun collection. I have an uncle that retired from there as a member of the Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit and he told me that when firearms are confiscated, they keep any that are not currently part of the collection and the goal is to have one of every firearm manufactured, and they also keep very rare, valuable or "collector" firearms. I was never able to actually see the collection unfortunately as the clearance process was quite time consuming and everytime I was there we did not have the time to spare :(
