Saddam's pimped out guns

Would make some pretty nice wall hanger DEWATs though.

And i don't think all of them are merely "plated", IIRC Saddam was presented a SOLID GOLD! AK for his birthday by, was it King Hussein of Jordan? for his birthday shortly after GW1.

The R word wasn't so out of place until the LIEberal gov't realized they were cheaply bought voters that could be import easily to prop up the red flag every 4 years b/c no-one else wants 'em.

Besides, letting a few across the border to the States to blow something up from time to time (unfortunately) endears all the American hating tree-hugging hippie birkenstock wearers in Toronto to said LIEberal gov't. A gov't that seems more preoccupied with appearing to be anti-American than with trying to work out a mutually beneficial relationship with our esteemed (and powerful) neighbors. So sad.

Who cares ? I don't think anyone would actually believe the thing would ever be attempted to be fired anyway ... Juts like most of the gun portrayed earlier in the thread.

Saddam was a Ruger man!

The TV pictures of Saddam shooting from his balcony and the one TV show that showed him going hunting always showed him with what appeared to be a totally stock Ruger 77...the one with the Mannlicher-type fullstock.

I'm pretty sure that famous pic is some kind of Mauser carbine, maybe 1905 Turk.

I would tend to agree! :!: :!:

I'm positive it was a Ruger...there is also another film of Saddam hunting some sort of Iraqi antelope and it is a Ruger in that footage for sure...sorry Ruger fans...its you and Saddam all the way...

As a lover an owner of AK if I had the money and could find someone to pimp my AK I would.
Pimping is such a harsh word I like to think of it as personalizing my firearm just like the cowboys did in the old west.

I would not complain about owning any of them.
I guess that there is jealousy in the air since most of us can not have such arms.
And I'd gold plate my VZ58 if I had the $$$ not to mention a couple more Vz's.
I'd have one gold, one chrome/nickel and one stock.

Just my .02$

You can drop off the Gold Plated Dragonov at my place anytime, thanx. Also the Nickle played AKM looks OK to me. 8)

Also of note...more proof that Arms companies don't give a rats arse where their product is going, and to whom...Cash talks, and you can bet Bu$h has a little Nickle or Gold plated Cowboy Gun set in his closet.

To bad the Dragonov rifles got prohibited and you can't shot them
I have two mint East German one's with all the kit.
Got some Russian five round Dragonov magazines let you get a little closer to the ground
They aren't a variation of the AK47. Even a different calibre
