Been watching a couple videos and doing some research on the saddle hunting set ups.
Wondering if anyone is doing and there thoughts on this style of tree stand hunting style.

I tried it last year,
I like it. I use no sticks, single rope technique. I install my paracords loops pre season and i climb the rope with an ascender.
This setup is very light, no sticks to carry and very fast to climb/descend.
I like the fact that nobody can see or use my traditional treestand or hunting spot.
It's also more easy to shoot at differents angles as you can move around the tree compared to be sitting.
It's expensive to be equipped too. 1000$ but, no need to buy multiple stand so....
I'm sold. but, it's quite technical and you need to practice to be confortable and safe. Not appropriate for everyone..

I dunno..... I like my ladder stand. It's pretty easy to set up. Easy to hide in the forest and I can stand and shoot nearly every angle i would need to around the tree. I can also have another hunter with me if I want and it comes in handy putting a new hunter onto a deer when i can sit with them in the stand and coach.
I can see some guys liking the saddle hunting rigs , perhaps bow hunters moreso than rifle hunters.
