TENDA has replaced the rifle at no cost to me. The replacement rifle is as nice as I expected.

So just got off the phone with the nice lady from Tenda. I guess they did not realize how bad the spring was until they saw the picture.

They are going to arrange for it to be picked up tomorrow and will send me a another rifle, that they will double check.

Phoned them and they issued me an RMA but it looks like I will be stuck with having to pay shipping back to them.

Caveat emptor when buying stuff over the internet, especially if it sounds to good to be true.

I've had refurb bores that were good after a cleaning but that surface rust and rusty spring are bad. It might clean up but that's not a super grade hand picked. Not by a long shot. Although we don't know who's hands picked it lol.

That is really bad! I don't know what that spring went through to get that rusty but not acceptable. Hopefully they will pay your shipping since it is obviously a rare mistake, not you changing your mind...

Most of it looks like superficial rust except the spring, it looks corroded, the scary part is, that this shows, they didn't even remove the cover and bolt, you can easily see right down to the spring, takes 1 minute!
