Does anyone know how to find a sadlak M14 scope mount this side of the border?

I'm pretty much set on this mount. Otherwise, i'll probably just figure out how to make my own.

Thanks!

Don't think you'll find anything like that in country. I think Wolverine carries the ARMS mount. Another option is Brownell's, they carry them along with the Smith ones. Depending on your situation you'll likely have issues ordering, I think it's a hundred bucks max (some items they won't ship) without special permits and stuff. Atleast thats what they told me that about a year ago. Try your local gun shop and see if they order from Brownells, I just got my Smith from Brownells through my local. Check out the scope stickies in this forum, tons of good M-14 information. Most M14 questions have been covered a few times in here, so the search will give you qiuet a bit.

Wolverine will do the paperwork and then bring it from Brownells for you, assuming that Brownells has the mount in stock.

If, instead, you want to bring it in yourself, read this thread: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51554
First step for you would be to get an International Import Certificate from DFAIT/ International Trade Canada (Ph(613)996-2387 or Fx(613)996-9933 for blank application forms). Then, you could send it along with your Brownells order to Brownells (and Brownells would obtain the U.S. export permit).

+1 on that.

I just bought a couple NM spring guides, a couple of NM-TiN pistons and some other assorted import goods like Wolf Springs from them.

Still waiting for my Sadlak Wrenches and Cleaning drills, but cest la vie.

They give good service there.
