It doesn’t say aya anywhere. Just trying to figure out if this is worth keeping. Been told this is worth keeping. Local gun collector offered me $800. I just don’t know enough about it
Is it a folding over/under? If made in Italy I would guess that it is made by Investarms. Is there a capital I stamped somewhere on the barrel? Investarms made muzzleloaders which were imported by Safari Arms. Investarms also makes a folding .410 over under which you can still buy new. If that is what you have I would grab the $800.00 and run all the way to the bank. A nice one just sold on here last week for $340.00 if the fellow got full asking price.
Are family have two of these, I bought one twenty years ago for my dad, they cost $600 back then, and just picked up a mint used one for $350. They came either with single or double triggers, are family had one of each, to #### the gun the lever must be pushed all the way to the right, vand this is how it cocks both barrels, if you don't do this, no go, bird or bunny goes by by
I believe they were were built by a company Bentisolli(not sure as guns aren't in front of me). Most are choked either full/full or full/mod.
These are built very differently internally than a tranditional over under shotgun.
Watch out the grain in the but stock by the toe of the but plate if put down firmly will crack the stock, due to the sling swivel screw location to the plastic but plate.
