Safari Rifle ####

whaaat?
im not a huge fan of over-engraved rifles, but this one is actually quite tasteful and has a minimal amount of embellishment.

There is a very nice Rigby 303 on Martini and Hagn. This is the type of rifle I appreciate more than a new custom gun. Too bad this one is drilled. :( I'd love to have that rifle.

Here is the description.

Rigby M98 , Cal 303 British . L.O.P 13 ¾ `` 25 `Barrel . Appears to be in original condition . Wood has a few small dings from handling . One scratch on the left hand side of the receiver and stock . 3 Leaf rear sight with one fixed , two standing . Fixed leaf has gold triangle inlayed . Barrel reads `Sighted for Rigbys, Special .303 bore, high velocity cartridges , pointed bullets . 150Grains . `` . Receiver has been drilled and tapped .

Price 5,000 CAD

I watched a short program the other night about a gentleman who handcrafted bows for violins. (no I'm not into violins but appreciated his craft none the less) Those bows commanded 6k and people lined up to get them. You also most likely wouldn't find these violinists with 47 economy grade bows sitting in their closets sneering at the guy with less money in one quality bow.

The firearms industry astounds me.

No these are not mine. But most of these see 12k in the rearview mirror.
