Hey guys!

I recently got misled by a member selling a holster on EE, (intentionally or not, I don't know) and I'm hoping someone can help.

I had purchased what I thought was a P226 compatible Safariland 6004 holster. It's the drop leg version with the SLS hood on it. I had asked the seller to give me the model number off the "paddle" (where the gun actually sits) and all he gave me was the model number, and claimed "that's all it says". Well it showed up yesterday, and I can't get my gun in there no matter what. I flip it over, and the "paddle" has the model number that I was given, but it also has P228/P229 stamped right in it.

Understandably, I'm not happy about it.

I need to find the proper P226 version, but I don't want to pay the $170+ for it, because now I don't need the leg rig- I just need the holster. I'm having a tough time finding that.

I'm hoping someone has a 6004 or 6005 and that they'd be willing to give me the part number of the actual holster itself, so I don't have to buy a complete one to have another leg rig sitting around unused.

Have you tried amazon?

I use the 6360series holsters for my guns and quite like them. Not sure if you can order just the holster, I buy the ones with basic belt loop and add in the QLS

I did try Amazon, but all they have are the complete setups with the holster and leg rig. I don't want to pay for a leg rig again if I don't have to
