Safe Movers? Edmonton

Greetings all,

Think I finally decided upon a safe from http://www.basspro.com (One of the Readhead's).

However I am having issues finding a mover or installer for a reasonable price. I can get some safe drop shipped to my front door but I still need to get it inside someow.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am not in Edmonton, but most moving companies would be equipped to do this. Just call around with the details (size and weight, stairs/no-stairs) and get some quotes. They don't need a truck, but will need an appliance dolly and 3-4 guys.

If you can remove the door from the hinges it will make it a lot easier.

I moved mine twice in one year

I had mine moved by Precision Piano. They did an ok job... If you don't count the 3 foot by 3 foot hole they put in my wall.

No regular mover would move it for me. Liberty 30 gun safe from Cabela's, because the weight was too high and they won't let their movers put themselves at risk. I think I called roughly 10 movers before I went to the piano movers. Uncle Al's has terrible reviews on google so I went with Precision. Cabela's apparently has them there quite often for safes.

Welcome aboard! Get get some strong buddies and a case of beer, make sure the safe gets in before you open the beer.

Check out kijjii you should be able to find a piano/safe mover but they wont be cheap, I paid 250$ for 5 min of there time. I felt ripped off but there was no way me and my two buds could do it, we could barely get it in the house never mind down stairs. It is now a permanent fixture that will be sold with the house when I move.

Welcome to CGN.
