I've been looking at the Rhodesian designed Armsel Striker specs and just thought i'd quickly confirm my first thoughts that this little baby is listed prohib by name?

Another "it's a gun in Call Of Duty" or "they use it in BF2-Bad Company" thread...

Yeah...

Prohibited:

4. The firearm of the design commonly known as the Striker shotgun, and any variant or modified version of it, including the Striker 12 shotgun and the Streetsweeper shotgun.

Sorry if i've brought up an item that has been beaten to death in the past, but I have 0 idea what your above reference is to. I've unfortunately never played Call of Duty, nor the other game you've listed (if its a game as I assume).

I'm simply doing some research for a personal project that includes a little research into Rhodesian small arms, as i've got family who lived in the area at a time.

Again, sorry if i've brought up a topic that appears unwanted...

Don't loose heart avroe. This sometimes happens but sooner or later someone will answer who has more than $0.02 to offer.

Meanwhile, try sending an E-mail to Wolverine Supplies. They're very much in the know about topics like this one. Questar would probably help you too. They've been very helpful to me in the past.

Yes Wolverine Supplies sometimes may help you (or not)
In my example, I asked IF they could import .380 ACP Berretta Cheetah mags, and they were almost adamant they were prohib and therefore not importable.

So, like I said, sometimes they are helpful, sometimes not......

Thanks for the feedback, I guess at this point i'll contact one of them, as i've found one overseas, but would obviously need a company that can deal with the paperwork on this side of the border, thats assuming its not prohib, which I get the feeling it might be.

Initially I was just curious in general about the firearm, but after looking at it more and more, i'd totally take the time to import one of these for my personal collection if it wasn't prohib.

Quester closed the case for me.

"It is a named Prohibited firearm... specifically listed by name and model (and all variants or modified versions thereof).

Not legal for commercial import/re-sale.

Mark"

Questar, thank you for the very quick response to my question, it was much appreciated.
