Safe to shoot?

I have an old Springfield 5100 double 16 I've been working on fixing up, had a dent in the left barrel and all of the furniture was in rough shape. managed to get the dent taken care of and made a new forestock and refinished the buttstock and it's looking pretty decent. now on to deciding if it's a wall hanger or a working gun. there's a little bit of bulging around the firing pins, barely noticeable around the left but the bottom edge of the right firing pin is what concerns me. I bought it off a buddy for around $100 (+/-10 years ago) who was getting married and needed some cash, and I wanted an old double for the gun cabinet. Have never shot it to date and just curious if it's safe to shoot?

Thanks. It turned out pretty good, the butt stock wasn't too bad, just some nasty brown paint covered with black paint, a few cracks and a chip or 2. The forestock was some kind of plastic material and in really rough shape (gouges and chunks missing) and same brown and black paint. Pretty happy with how it came out with the cold blue and messing around with the furniture. Have a partial box of shot and slugs, just don't know if its safe to shoot or just a decent home job wall hanger.

I'd want to know why the right firing pin has ovalized the hole in the breech face. Perhaps a ill-fitting replacement.
That should be rectified.

It might be okay with low pressure rounds but it's not a huge job to get it bushed. There's lots of how-to advice on-line. Shouldn't be too much at a shop but I'm not sure every modern gun mechanic would be capable.
