Safe to use slightly corroded surplus?

Personally i have not had any with corrosion,i would clean it and see if significant loss in the casings thickness has occurred
if it has i wouldn't shoot it , and risk blowing up my firearm and me,and i certainly would never buy this product again
perhaps im just over cautious but im real partial to keeping my fingers and eyes
IMHO

Tumbling loaded rounds for 30 minutes or so will in no way affect anything except remove excess lube etc. and give them a final shine. The myth is that it will break down the coatings on the powders changing burn rates. If it did then ammo manufacturers wouldn't give a final tumble before packaging their product.

As a side note I wouldn't tumble loaded lead bullets. Had a couple unfired rounds get dumped in with the spent brass and they came out very dull, grey and fugly. Still shot ok.
