I'm kinda like "it is better to have it and not need it" .I don't mind it especially for a camp gun. Easy to find when the time comes.
All my axes have the bright orange duck tape wrapped around the handle for easy find and my Benchmade Saddle Mountian knife I use for processing deer has a orange sheath and orange accented handle. Makes them easy to find in the field.
I plan to get a magpul foregrip and modify it to fit my 590A1.

I think it looks sweet with the orange. I was gonna make a LL set up while back with the Orange kit but they went out of stock at the time.Built this up when Cabelas had a 500 Shockwave on for 10% off, with a additional 10% off for online purchase with in-store pick up.
500S
Magpul Stock and Pump
Bushnell RXS100
Cheap PA flashlight.
Nice handy little Camp gun.

Thank you!I think it looks sweet with the orange. I was gonna make a LL set up while back with the Orange kit but they went out of stock at the time.
The light seems do be doing fine! ive put about 300 slugs through it (2 3/4) and it still turns on!I love shotguns, and appreciate purpose-built solutions. That gun looks like it checks all the boxes for the intended use, even if it offends the Turkish walnut crowd.
I’ve finally relented and let a Magpul stock into my life for 2026-no denying the ergonomics.
Question-have you fired the gun with heavy loads and determined the light will hold up? Reason I ask-recently added a light myself (yet to test) Streamlight TLR-1 HL and for what the cost, I might even have unrealistic expectations
I for one, do find the grip kind of comfortable.Never understood why that clunky looking Magpul is so popular.
For its price I think its perfect. It seems te holding Zero. And im able to make consistent hits with slugs on steel targets at 50/100mHow you like the rxs100?
