Safety Room now completed :) I hope not to be OT

Wow pretty cool.

I like the sight picture poster. Looks right out of the manual when I was taught (not military though).

One suggestion for it to be almost perfect. Other than a few belt Feds of corse. That roo
"needs" a WW2 inspired "Keep Calm carry on" poster!!

Thanks for sharing. That's fairly amazing.

A word of advice. I might be a good idea to put some felt on all the rests, especially the ones that contact directly on metal. Since some of your rests appear to be unfinished, there is a chance that they could cause marks.

Wow, very nice gun room.

If you could find the time I'd love a gun by gun in each rack, although I've identified quite a few I'd love to know what each one is!!

BTW, very nice Kropatscheks, I see you both a long rifle and the short version!!

I'm jealous!!

Nice!
I see lots of Krags - very nice!!
Can you tell us what the rules are for gun owners in Italy?
Semi and converted autos? Handguns?

In short words is impossible but about the semiautos, handguns and magazine the rule are simple.

Semiautos weapons are permitted ( original born or converted from automatic weapons) and can be classified Hunting rifles ( no number limitation maximum 5 ammos magazines) or Sporting Ones ( maximum 6 of them and 29 ammos magazine maximum capability). Before the change of the law in November 2013 the Magazione capacity was free and no stupid limitations ( before 2010 was worst you must declair also Magazines to the police number, when and where did you buy ecc...ecc...). In Italy you can find AR and AK tipes rifles as hunting and as sporting weapons without any problems.

About handguns maximum 15 ammos capacity and no limitation in the barrel lenght or caliber ( only the 9mm Parabellum is still proibited to the civilians);the pistols can be in a so called Common Weapons group ( maximum 3 of them) or sporting ones ( maximum 6). A shooter can have more Sporting or Common weapons if ask a collection permission ( it is not permitted to keep the ammos for the weapons in collection list, except in the case you have a weapon in the same caliber outside list, and to take them to the range you must ask the pesmission to the police). In the italian laws all the weapons and the declared gun part ( barrels, bolts and receiversmust) be registered within 72 to the police station or command in the county where you live.

This is a short idea of our gun laws ( that are not bad at all at the end) but we are trying to change the last problem with the magazines capacity ( not only semiautos but also bolt action suffer that problem) and othr stupid things.

Very nice collection & presentation. If I could make one suggestion concerning the guns with butts resting on the floor, if there is any , even a small small chance of any flooding ( broken water line, rain storm, ect.) in the room ,I would elevate them somehow.

Thanyou for the idea but lukely there is another room down this one with the reloading equipments :) The only problems is humidity during the spring and summer season but I have some dehumidifiers to help my job :)

Well you can ask and use my pictures to select the weapons that you don't know so I can help you to know them. About the Kropatscheks they are three: a Colonial Long Rifle, Short Rifle and a Carabine i need only to find a Guedes lol :)

Wonderful collection and set up bud. Must have taken quite a while to get this all set up. Enjoy and feel free to post all the pictures you want since I'm sure no one will be disturbed, maybe a tad jealous or envious though.
