I had the chance to fondle, I mean examine DaveGP's SAFN last night. Very nice workmanship. The hand made Echo scope mount was very nice too. Except for the shiny chrome hardware store tension bolts he had on the mount, but I'm sure he'll fix that. Right Dave?

Those are going to be replaced very shortly! I had to cobble it together for you to critique!

FWIW, the zinc can be burned off hardware store bolts with muriatic acid and then parked or blued or whatever.
