Anyone know where to get a hold of a Sage 870 Stock? The model I'm looking for is a TS880LW. This is the non-folding aluminium stock. It looks like this:

Been looking at those for awhile myself. Would also bee interested in seeing who is carrying them.

They look as though they are going to limit if not prohibit the carrying of shells in any form of side saddle though...

I know :( that's fine for me because I want to build a dedicated breaching gun that will be non-restricted with a 14" barrel.

As far as I know this stock will still be over the min length when fully collapsed. Might even be OK with a 12" barrel.

That sounds pretty damn cool!:D

I want to get my 870 as short as possible while maintaining the legal OAL with the 14" barrel.
 
A 14-inch 870 with a Hogue Youth stock just barely makes legal length.

I've had the Sage stock illustrated here. It is very well made, definitely a piece of quality gear. However, shooting it from the shoulder was, for me at least (and I'm not very recoil-sensitive), a painful experience for my cheekbone. The Hogue is a much more comforable proposition, as long as I remember not to cross my shooting-hand thumb over the top of the grip.
 
No I didn't. Because the stock is what it is, it will require export paperwork. Something I'm not interested in doing, nor do I have the time. I know there was a supplier providing Sage stuff in Canada but I can't remember the guys name. He is the one who got all of the M14 Chassis into the country.

Contact Delsins, or Delselins, something along those lines their out of BC, and they helped me track down a SAGE EBR chassis for my Garand way back when... you usually find them in the various EE pages
 
i looked at the web site and it has the letters n.a. at the end of the ad . i believe this means not available but give them a shout as i may be wrong and let the rest of us know how it goes .
