SAGE EBR build videos posted...

Keep in mind that we haven't added a scope yet.

Exactly as pictured above, with a loaded 20 round mag of XM80 ball, the total weight is 13lb, 5.5oz. Without the full magazine, this rifle should weigh 11lbs, 13oz. Had the barrel been a standard weight profile, this rifle would weigh in right at 11lbs. Not bad for a fully scoped rifle!

-LRB M14SA receiver
-Blackfeather chassis
-M14.CA RBS
-Bassett high picatinny mount
-Burris Zee medium height rings
-Zeiss Conquest 3-9x50mm scope
-Bula Forge medium weight 19.25" barrel
-M14EBR trigger shoe

The action in the Blackfeather is identical to the one I just installed in a SAGE and it's fully scoped.

I certainly kept that in mind having recently weighed my BF with scope, bipod and 20 round empty mag at 14.6lbs

I'll join the show'n'tell. My U.S. Army M14 EBR-RI clone weighs as much as... a 5-month old kid.

USGI parts all around (barrel, bolt, trigger group, op rod.. etc). Heel stamped PolyTech receiver
Sage EBR chassis with 6-bolt top rail, and early 'welded' style butt stock
EGRO grip
Sage VFG
KAC bi-pod adapter
Harris 1A2-L
Sage cantilever mount
Leupold MK4 3.5-10x40 mil-dot
Leupold MK4 med rings

Nice looking stick, my friend! How's it shoot?
Tony.

Thanks folks! I had a SAGE for a short while and between installing that one and reinstalling my Blackfeather on different rifles and barrels a few times, it gave me some good practice. The more you do, the easier it gets. Now I just share all my headaches with you guys so you are all better prepared.

Tony.
