I need to know difference between 6 or 5 hole top rail configuration, i want to put a medium, barrel, so i need a 5 hole configuration. anyone have a picture ???

The only difference between the two is that the 5 screw rail is made without the center screw hole/port on the left side.
I modified my 13" NSG 6 screw top rail to accept a medium heavy barrel, I believe SkullBoy was the first to do this.

The 5 screw rail requires no modification to fit a medium heavy barrel

I would think the NM version has more potential for better accuracy, but the SAGE EBR chassis does make the loaded model very accurate...

Sage is the best Chassis ? for accuracy ....

It's what I would go to if I was building a precision DMR rig with a medium contour barrel.

The which is the best chassis for accuracy question will be debated for eternity. There is no absolute answer.
But you certainly wouldn't be wrong if one said that installing a sage chassis to any m14 is an accuracy enhancement.

Have had a few guys looking for replacement Sage oprod guide blocks due to stripping threads ect.

I just got off the phone with Sage customer service. She is looking into the ITAR details regarding the oprod guide block.
They are calling me back next week once they have things clarified as per ITAR and if that part can be exempt and thus shipped to canadian customers direct
As of now, I'm told, there has not been any orders placed by the canadian dealer(s) for this part.

Stay tuned....

The SAGE chassis is what I am using for my medium heavy precision DMR rig, still shopping for a scope for it.

SAGE changed the threads on the guide block a few years ago, coarse to fine or fine to coarse, I can't remember, but it has caused problems.
Make sure 3 correct cap screws are included with your new guide blocks when you figure out how to import them, or duplicate them...

Hey are you the same H2o guy that's been banned all over down South and was challenged to come out and admitted you didn't have an M14 rifle? Just asking.

I have been banned from a few less than desirable forums, no sleep lost.

and was challenged to come out and admitted you didn't have an M14 rifle?
LOL! the internet sure has some funny stories floating around about me, and that's a good one... No.

Iirc Armtac had a limitted supply of the navy seal grey Sage but they went fast and that was some time ago.
There 2 of the original mod 0 sage stocks with the AR type rear adaptor in canada. Have had the pleasure of handling and putting rifles in both of em :D
If those 2 guys are reading this.... I'd pay top dollar for one of those 2 mod 0 chassis ;)
