Sage EBR INfo ?

You want quality... You pay for it, plain and simple.
I'm sure it ain't cheap, time or money spent, to secure the products armtac carries and import them for us lucky sob's
2 years ago you couldn't even legally aquire most of what Armtac has in inventory.

Curious, if I were to get a Springfield SOCOM 16 with a Sage ALCS stock, is it a straight drop in or does it require some gunsmithing?

Replace the original guide with the SAGE op rod guide block, shim the gas system and bolt it in, no real gunsmithing required.

The sage chassis comes with the oprod guide block referred to above.

I'm still waiting on a call back from Sage to see if the part itself can be sent up here direct from them. For those with a sage chassis with a damaged guide block (stripped or otherwise buggered threads)

So...with a stock Sage ALCS with the stock op rod already included, some shimming on the gas system as mentioned by H2O MAN, bolt down my socom 16 in it and I am good to go?

Affirmative
The socom 16 is no different from any other m1a or m14 type, other than barrel length and accesories related to the gas system/muzzle. Same install procedures all around.
