Have about 1000 rounds through the Sage. Stuck a deer sized target up on the backstop and from a bench rest at 100 meters using a bi pod shot 5 rounds. There was a image of the heart lungs on the life sized target. Put all five rounds into a space of about 2-2.5( in the heart lung area) inches using Norinco 7.62X51 ammo. I do believe that this accuracy is good enough to hunt with if using the proper hunting bullets that will mushroom on impact. Surprisingly I have found that el chepo soft point flat base Winchester 168 bullets shoot best in my M305 with IMR or Alliant RE15 not the hollow point Boat tails such as Berger hunting rounds.
