So a few months ago I called Bashaw Sports to inquire about the Sage EBR stocks for my M305, they said that they have no idea if or when they will get them in but the will take my name and number and contact me if they come in......so I received a call yesterday and they got some in. I took the Black one but I believe they had a burnt bronze and fde as well. Just letting everyone know if you want one to try and snag one while they have them!

I paid $1400 for this a few months back, I was pleased with the deal!!

M-305 requires that you glue a piece of plastic on the inside of the stock so that your op-rod pin doesn't work it's way out. Other than that, it's a drop in install

I just got my M1A in yesterday, now to see how hard it is to install the ebr stock. Stock cost me around $1400 with taxes and shipping! M1A I bought from SFRC with the 10% off coupon so I saved $200, cost $2044 with taxes and shipping. I cannot wait to get it all together!

Great post. Ive had an EBR stock for a while and have the op rod pin issue with a Norinco M305.

Can anyone suggest the actual fix for this? Bigger op rod pin (USGI)? I don't want to permanently alter the chassis with epoxy and plastic, but the CHICOM op rod pin will not stay in place during battery. Can someone share their experiences?

I will post pictures as soon as I figure out a hosting site!

the two most common methods are to:
A: glue a short section of popsicle stick against the wall of the stock where the pin is. Doesn't work as well in aluminum stocks but is the common method for glass and wood stocks
B: Order a USGI/M1A connector pin from treeline or brownells or the EE, make sure you are not buying the "NM" one as it is the same length as the norinco pin.

third option.... find a drill bit with the same diameter and cut the shank end off to the length needed to make a new pin.
