Saint Valentines Day Massacre 2-gun Match

Well we've had a small change in plans, the entire match will be shot outdoors...this means no one will have to struggle over attire since you will only need things that keep you warm :d !

Xylotek Solutions Inc. is also sponsoring the match and NEA is ponying up a 7.62X39 upper that will go to one lucky shooter!

So if the match is all outdoors now, does that mean we can bring a .308 rifle now?

:D

Lol if I'm still in the country which is becoming a possibility, let me know if you guys need any help with the setup and teardown. I've already enjoyed 2 great matches and wouldn't mind giving a littlebit back :) Will know more by the end of next week.

Round counts haven't been sent out yet but as this is a 2 gun match with rifle and handgun, you likely won't need any shot or slugs ;)

Oooops lol Should have paid more attention... On a good note got another shotgun thing lined up after the Galt match, so I'll burn through most of the flat and I'll be taking a good chunk of the remaining buckshot/slugs to South America in case the "zombies" come knocking ;) Got just enough 223 to tide me over for the match and will have 9 coming out my rectum as I'll be swinging by your parts and visiting a fella named Frank

By the way, how is the ground gonna be... Knee-deep in snow or will the shooting lanes be at least partly plowed-groomed... Basically trying to decide whether I'll wear low-top hikers or rubber boots.

You're shooting in the last squad of the day so let's just assume they will be partly groomed :d

Lol good point. So you're thinking low-top hikers should be ok, or would it be a good idea to pick up a pair of knee-high boots anyway?

Low top hikers will be fine. In fact, I expect to see Cbabes in some flashy runners or else I will be disappointed ;)
Shooters won't be having to move through deep stuff but there could be some ice so footwear with good tread/grip will be helpful. Our heated clubhouse with bathroom will be open of course and we will have a couple of fire barrels going outside so regardless of the conditions, we will have fun.

Perfect.. I've only worn my low-top, aggressive thread hikers 6 times (2 of which were at Galt lol) so plenty of meat left.. Bought thermal insoles as I get the feeling they'll be needed ;) My clothing should be adequate for the weather so I may even take a pass on the fire barrels and the clubhouse as sweating becomes a bigger concern.
