5000 euros
Or 2500 euros per ejector.
SAKO may finally have lost the plot. Curious if the upcoming product is going to be a more traditional rifle
I'm guessing that it will be a lot more than $4500. Scopelist in the US has them listed (on backorder) at $4800 USD for the wood stocked model and $5800 USD for the carbon model. That equates to about $6500 Cdn for the wood and $7850 Cdn for the carbon. On another site I've seen speculation that the wood version would go for around 5000 Euros ($7400 Cdn) ad the carbon version for about 6000 Euros ($8900 Cdn).
We usually do a little better here in Canada than the Cdn conversion of US prices, so the wood model will probably be less than the $6500 noted above, but I doubt it will be a lot less. I'm guessing something in the $5500-$6000 range, but this is just a guess, and we'll have to wait until we hear from Stoeger Canada. However it plays out, it ain't going to be cheap....
For those prices, they can keep their newly engineered trendy rifle.
Wouldn't surpise me to see them come out with a high end shotgun, maybe a rebranded Beretta.
How about clothing line? "For rugged individuals who can handle harsh environments of walking 100m from a car to a shooting stand"
Just a thought, but maybe their target group of buyers isn't the "millions" of North American sheep and Mtn goat hunters. And FYI,most Scandinavian hunting clothing i've come across is lightyears better than our crap which is focused more on camo patterns than anything else.
They should be bringing back the L61R models. All their newer stuff is junk
