Sako 338 Rings and Bases- Low Profile

Does anyone have a recommendation for low profile and light-weight rings and bases for my 338 WM hunting rig?

I tried the Sako rings and bases and found them a little too high for my liking.

Thoughts?

+1, that's what I use on my sakos as well. - dan

You could have a look at the Conetrol ring and bases. Can have a very low mount , light weight and strong to boot. They are somewhat tricky to install but once done are good to go. I have a set on my Sako rifle and work very well.

Did you try the Optilock Extra Low Rings? I personally prefer the Optilocks and have them on most of my Sako m75 and Tikka T3 rifles. I have the new Optilock Ringmounts also....SWEET!!!
